LOUISVILLE, KY – The UNC Greensboro cross country teams competed in the Southeast Regional Championships on Saturday at the E.P. “Tom” Sawyer Park. The men posted a 20th place finish, while the women took 31st to conclude the 2006 season.
Junior Josh Wyatt finished a team-best 71st place and ran a time of 32:43 for the Spartans. Senior Nick Vaccaro took 78th in 32:49 for the men.
On the women’s side, freshman Sherrika Jordan took 161st in a time of 24:08, while senior Jess Weber crossed the finish line in 24:37 and finished in 180th place.
North Carolina State took both men and women’s titles. Julia Lucas of NC State captured first in a time of 20:15 and Jacob Korir from Eastern Kentucky took the top spot in a time of 30:03.
