2008 (at VCU): Played in 31 of the 32 matches and appeared in 96 games as a sophomore…finished the season fourth on the team in kills with 218 and was second on the team with a 2.27 kills per game average…had a season-high 19 kills against Binghamton (9/13)…finished the season with four double-doubles…registered a season-high 11 digs six times…recorded 23 aces during the 2008 season…tied for third on the team with 209 digs as a sophomore.
2007 (at VCU): Appeared in 125 of 130 possible games and averaged a team-best 3.09 kills per game … Ranked second on the team with 33 service aces … Averaged 2.54 digs per outing … Logged 14 double-doubles … Recorded double-doubles (kills and digs) in the final four matches, including an 18-kill, 21 dig performance against Georgetown (Nov. 24) … Ripped 21 kills with 15 digs and hit .318 in 3-2 win at Georgetown (Oct. 16) … Fired a personal-best five service aces in a victory over UNC Wilmington (Oct. 12) … Booked 18 kills and 20 digs at William & Mary (Sept. 26) … Hit .522 with 14 kills at UNC Wilmington (Sept. 22) … Hammered career-high 24 kills and hit .358 against Maryland (Sept. 1).
High school: A four-year letterwinner for coach Beth Brown at Southern Guilford HS in Greensboro, N.C….named to the North State all-conference team all four years…earned conference player of the year honors as a sophomore and senior…was MVP of the conference tournament as a freshman and senior…broke the school record for the most kills in a season with 270 as a freshman…named to the all-area team by the Greensboro News & Record…selected as team captain her senior season.
Club: Played three seasons with current teammate Kayren Finney for the Piedmont-Triad National Volleyball Club for head coaches Kim Mansfield and Blaine Tendler…her team was the Big South Tournament qualifier champions, as well as the Big South Tournament champions in 2007.
