Branagan Fuller named Southern Conference Player of the Month

SPARTANBURG, SC – UNC Greensboro volleyball player Branagan Fuller has been named Southern Conference Volleyball Player of the Month for her performance during the month of September.

Fuller, a sophomore outside hitter from Murietta, CA, earned the award for her dominating performance throughout September. The sophomore tallied a team-high 203 kills, good for an average of 3.98 per game and recorded 25 services aces in September. She also recorded 151 digs. 

She also set several new career marks during the month of September, most recently tallying a match-high 32 kills and posting a .301 hitting percentage in UNCG’s 3-2 win over Furman on September 29. Fuller closed out the month with six consecutive games with double-digit kills and seven double-doubles.

The Spartans are back in action this weekend when they host Appalachian State and Davidson in Southern Conference action. UNCG takes on Appalachian State Saturday at 2 pm in Fleming Gym and closes out the weekend against Davidson Sunday at noon.
