Dougherty, Wilkins ranked in ITA region

SKILLMAN, N.J. – UNCG's Lucy Dougherty and Niltooli Wilkins were ranked in the Carolina Region in doubles, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released on Wednesday afternoon.

The Spartans' doubles group checked in at No. 10 in the regional rankings.

The duo earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors this past season as they helped lead the Spartans to a 15-7 overall mark, including an impressive 9-1 mark in SoCon matches.

This past spring, Dougherty and Wilkins combined to go 18-2 in doubles. The tandem posted a 17-1 mark at No. 2 doubles, but also had a 1-1 record at No. 1.
