UNCG closes out fall slate at Kitty Harrison Invitational
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNCG will close the women's tennis fall slate this weekend with a trip to the Kitty Harrison Invitational, hosted by North Carolina.
The tournament will be played on the campus of North Carolina and Duke with matches Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Spartans will join host North Carolina, Minnesota, Virginia, Maryland, William & Mary, Princeton and Texas A&M in the round robin format.
UNCG will begin play on Friday with doubles competition against Maryland at 10 a.m. The Spartans will face William & Mary at 1:30 p.m. and Princeton at 3:30 p.m. in singles play on Friday. All three of those sections will be played in Chapel Hill.
Saturday's slate will see UNCG take on Texas A&M in doubles play at 10 a.m., followed by Minnesota in singles action at 11:30 a.m. and then Maryland in singles play at 3 p.m., with all three matches again slated for Chapel Hill. On Sunday, UNCG will face Princeton in 10 a.m. doubles action and then close out against Virginia in singles at 11:30 a.m. in Chapel Hill.
Inclement weather could change the tournament schedule and location of matches.
