CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Redshirt sophomore Niltooli Wilkins advanced to Sunday's final in Flight B singles as UNCG picked up three more wins on the second day of action at the UVA Women's Tennis Fall Invitational on Saturday.
Wilkins topped Virginia's Caryssa Peretz in a three-setter, 6-2, 4-6, 6-0, to remain unbeaten on the fall season at 6-0. She will face Virginia's Maria Fuccillo in the final at 12 noon Sunday.
Annette Rios' quest of a bid in the finals was ended by Winthrop's Andressa Garcia, 6-4 and 6-3, in Saturday's semifinal round in Flight D. She will play for third place on Sunday against Dartmouth's Rachel Decker-Sadowski.
