UNCG closes out action at Wake Forest Fall Invitational
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Lucy Dougherty won a
singles match and a doubles match in consolation play as UNC
Greensboro wrapped up action at the Wake Forest Women's Tennis Fall
Invitational.
Dougherty rallied for a three-set win over Davidson's Stephani
Synn, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3, in singles flight A action and then teamed
with Valerie Behr for an 8-2 win over Davidson's Ali Gores and
Teresa Wang.
Mikayla Rogers lost a semifinal match in Flight C singles, but bounced back to defeat Catherine Wood of Davidson, 6-2 and 6-1.
UNCG returns to action in two weeks when it travels to Flushing Meadows, N.Y. for the USTA College Invitational.
