WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNC Greensboro's second day at the UNC Wilmington Fall Invitational was a tough one as the Spartans lost all five matches on Saturday.
The closest of the five matches came in the semifinal round of singles with freshman Lucy Dougherty. She lost to North Carolina State's Diana Mortlock, 7-5 and 7-5. Dougherty and Sara Templeton also lost a semifinal match in doubles action, falling to Jocelyn Ffriend and Hanes Harris of North Carolina, 8-6.
Play concludes at the season-opening tournament on Sunday.
