CHARLOTTE, NC – UNC Greensboro picked up two wins in singles action and a doubles victory against Furman on Day 2 of the Charlotte Fall Invitational Women’s Tennis Tournament.
Saturday, Alejandra Guerra and Erica Zabkar picked up singles wins for the second consecutive day. Guerra topped Lauren Osborne, 6-0 and 6-3, in the first singles flight. Zabkar knocked off Lauren Tomroy at fourth singles, 6-4 and 6-2.
In addition, the duo of Guerra and Arielle VonStrolley defeated Tomroy and Osborne in a doubles pro-set, 8-4.
The tournament concludes Sunday, when UNCG will be matched up with Georgia State.
