GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro’s Alejandra Guerra made it 11 straight wins in singles action as the Spartans rolled to a 6-1 win over Chattanooga in women’s tennis on Sunday morning.
The Spartans (6-8, 3-2) got five singles straight-set wins, including Guerra’s. The junior from Tampico, Mexico topped Chattanooga’s Lindsay Ballard, 6-2 and 6-0, at No. 1 singles and also teamed up with Arielle VonStrolley for a win at No. 1 doubles.
UNCG also got straight-set singles wins from VonStrolley, Valerie Behr, Erica Zabkar and Courtney Akel on their way to the easy win.
The Spartans will face High Point on Wednesday at 2 pm at UNCG Tennis Courts.
