CHAPEL HILL, NC – Playing its second match in 24 hours and more than 200 miles apart, UNC Greensboro dropped all six singles matches and two of three doubles pro-sets in a 7-0 loss to Minnesota.
The Spartans (3-2), who shut out UNC Asheville on Saturday, only picked up one win on the day. The duo of Valerie Behr and Jess Eblen won their pro-set at No. 3 doubles, defeating Jackie Sperling and Jenna Tellefsen, 8-3.
Minnesota (2-2) bounced back from a 7-0 loss to seventh-ranked North Carolina on Saturday by taking all six singles matches in straight sets.
UNCG returns to action on March 3 when it heads to Florida for a weekend road swing, first taking on Stetson University in Deland, FL.
