Women's soccer game at Elon postponed until Thursday

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG's scheduled women's soccer game against Elon on Wednesday night has been postponed until Thursday due to inclement weather. Kickoff is now set for 7:30 p.m. at Rudd Field in Elon, N.C.

The 16^th-ranked Spartans will bring a 15-1-1 overall record and a 10-0-0 Southern Conference ledger into the match. Five-time defending SoCon regular-season champion UNCG will be trying to finish off its fourth unbeaten SoCon slate in the last five seasons.

Elon will enter the match at 11-6-1 overall and 6-4-0 in SoCon play. The Phoenix is in fourth place in the league prior to the rest of Wednesday night's action, and is fighting for the No. 4 seed and hosting duties in the quarterfinal round of the SoCon Championship.
