UNCG women’s soccer earns seventh NSCAA academic award

KANSAS CITY, KS – The UNC Greensboro women’s soccer team joined 413 other soccer teams (114 men, 299 women) on the list of 2006-07 NSCAA/adidas Team Academic Award winners.

The Spartans, led by Coach Eddie Radwanski, posted a 3.38 team grade point average for the 2006-07 academic year. In order to make the academic roll-call, a team must post a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This is the seventh year the NSCAA has honored the Spartans for their off-field achievements under the eye of Radwanski.

UNCG finished the season with a 16-5-1 record after taking the Southern Conference regular season title and earning an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they made it through to the second round.
