KANSAS CITY, KS – Senior defender Jamie Corti was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Southeast Region third team.
The Apex, NC, native joins 34 other players from throughout the region
In her final season with the Spartans, Corti received the starting nod in 21 of 22 games played. She was named to the 2007 FAU Classic All-Tournament team and the 2007 Southern Conference All-Conference first-team. She scored her first collegiate goal in the 3-0 shutout against Elon (11/01) and centered a strong defensive line that held opponents to 19 goals in 22 games and captured 13 shutouts. Last season, she was named to the Southern Conference All-Tournament team.
