MISSION, KS – The UNC Greensboro women’s soccer team has been earned the Team Academic Award by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for its cumulative 3.16 grade point average during the 2004-05 academic year.
A total of 312 intercollegiate soccer programs (65 men, 247 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, the minimum grade point average necessary to qualify for the award.
UNCG posted a 11-7-1 overall record this past season and had six members earn All-Southern Conference team accolades. Head coach Eddie Radwanski completed his fifth year at the help in Greensboro and now owns a career mark of 62-39-6 during his tenure at UNCG.
