WILMINGTON, N.C. – Erica Creed carded a final round 76 for the Spartans' low round of the day as UNCG finished 18th at the Landfall Tradition on Sunday.
Creed began the day at No. 17 in the shotgun formation and promptly birdied the par-4 to open the day. She finished the day with 13 pars in her round.
UCLA won the team title with a score of 880, five shots better than North Carolina and 10 ahead of Texas. The Spartans finished 18th with a score of 967.
UCLA's Tiffany Lua and Virginia's Brittany Altomare tied for the individual title at 214, two shots better than Duke's Lindy Duncan and North Carolina's Casey Grice. Ana Martinez was the Spartans' best finisher in 58th place with a score of 234.
The Landfall Tradition was the final tournament on UNCG's fall slate. The Spartans return to action on March 6 when they open play at the Lady Gator Intercollegiate.
