SORRENTO, Fla.- UNC Greensboro carded rounds of 303 and 304 on Monday to sit in 11th place after two rounds at the UCF Challenge women's golf tournament at Red Tail Golf Club.
UNCG freshman Courtney Taylor began the day with a round of 74 and followed that up with an even par 72 in the afternoon to sit in a tie for 11th after 36 holes, six shots off of the lead. Texas A&M's Julia Boland was on fire in the morning with a round of 65 and sits atop the leader board at two-under 140. Her teammate Sarah Zwartynski is second, one shot back.
Georgia State leads the team scoring at 591, carding rounds of 292 and 299. Texas A&M, Baylor and tournament host Central Florida are in a three-way tie for second at 598, followed by College of Charleston and Oklahoma at 599.
Tuesday's final round will be a shotgun start and the start time has been moved up to 8 a.m. because of the threat of inclement weather.
