UNCG eighth after two rounds at John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – Sofia Aidemark and Lauren Smith are both tied for 14th place after two rounds to lead UNC Greensboro to an eighth-place standing at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia State.
 
The host school sits atop the team standings at 588, two shots better than East Tennessee State and Furman. The Spartans are eighth at 612 after a pair of rounds shooting 306.

Stefanie Kenoyer of Furman leads the individual standings at two-under par 142. The Georgia State duo of Anna Scott and Sandra Maier are both tied for second, two shots back. Aidemark carded two rounds of 75 on Monday to sit eight shots off the lead, while Smith shot 77 in the morning and rebounded with a 73 in the afternoon.

The tournament concludes with the final round on Tuesday.
