MIAMI, Fla. – Annelie Weimenhog had a team-best score of 77 on Monday as UNC Greensboro carded a second round score of 317 at the Qdoba Invitational.
The Spartans are still in 12th place at the conclusion of the second round with a 36-hole score of 635. Georgia State maintained its lead on Monday, sitting with a score of 590 and a five-shot lead over Louisville. North Carolina State is third at 598.
Weiemenhog’s 77 moved her up to a tie for 44th place. Sofia Aidemark is UNCG’s leader on the individual leaderboard in 40th place after a second round 81 to put her at 157 for 36 holes. There is a three-way tie atop the leaderboard between Georgia State’s Iliska Verwey and Louisville’s Cindy LaCrosse and Laura Anderson, each at 146.
No one broke par on the 6,223-yard course on Monday and Anderson was one of two players to shoot even par 72 on the day.
The final round gets underway Tuesday at 8:30 am.
