LEXINGTON, Ky. – Jenna Schmidt shot a third-round 75 on Sunday to pace UNC Greensboro women’s golf team to a 10th place finish at the Kentucky Fall Invite.
Schmidt’s 75 rallied her back to a tie for 26th place, individually, with a three-round total of 229. Ashley Mylton also finished in the Top 30, firing a tournament total 230 to finish in a tie for 28th place.
University of Florida won the team tournament title, firing an 881. The Gators also garnered the individual title as Mallory Blackwelder shot a four-under 212 for the tournament, six shots better than North Carolina’s Katie Miller and Mississippi State’s Amanda Mathis.
UNCG returns to action in two weeks at the Lady Paladin Invite in Greenville, SC.
