Mylton named SoCon Women's Golfer of the Week

SPARTANBURG, SC – UNC Greensboro sophomore Ashley Mylton has been named to the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for her outstanding performance earlier this week.

Mylton, a native of Charlotte, NC finished second at the Fighting Camel Spring Classic with a career-best 54-hole total of 227. She nearly rallied from a seven-shot deficit on the final day, falling two shots short of the individual champion. It was her first career Top 10 finish.

This season, Mylton leads UNCG with a 76.8 stroke average. She has three Top 20 finishes this season and six for her career in 17 outings.
