UNCG places 15th at 28th annual Pat Bradley Women's Golf Championship

MIAMI, Fla. – UNC Greensboro fired a final day 313 to sure up its 15th place finish at the 28th annual Pat Bradley Women’s Golf Championship, hosted by Florida International at the Miccosukee Golf Club.

Augusta State won the team total with a score of 897, thanks to three golfers in the Top 10. Brigham Young University was second, one shot behind, followed by Georgia State and host Florida International in a tie for third.

The Spartans, which finished with a tournament total 955, were led by Ashley Mylton. The sophomore from Charlotte, NC finished tied for 25th after carding a tournament total 232. After starting slowly with an 81 yesterday morning, Mylton fired a 75 in the afternoon and shot a 76 on Wednesday. Lacy Miller also had a strong third round, shooting a team-best 75 on Wednesday after two rounds of 81 on Tuesday.

Memphis’ Stacey Tate won the individual title, erasing a three-shot deficit on the final day with a tournament-low 68 on Wednesday. Her score of 214 edged out Georgia State’s Lisbeth Meincke by one shot for medalist honors.

The Spartans return to action on March 6 when they open play at the Hargrove Davis Classic, hosted by Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.
