Spartan Women’s Basketball Spotlight: Senior Class

GREENSBORO, N.C. – With the 2012-13 UNCG women's basketball season just days from tipping off, uncgspartans.com will give Spartan fans a closer look at the ladies who will don the Blue and Gold in the coming months. Today we will profile the senior class – Sidnei Harmon and Natalie Headley.

What do you think is the newspaper headline that would describe the 2012-13 UNCG women's basketball season?
Sidnei:
The Biggest Turnaround!
Natalie: "Lady Spartans: The Silent Threat"

Name your favorite memory of playing in a UNCG uniform.
Sidnei:
Winning the Samford game when the court was dedicated to Coach Agee.
Natalie: Leading the team to a victory over Samford the day the court was dedicated to Coach Agee.

What impresses you most about Coach Palmer?
Sidnei: She has great confidence.
Natalie: Coach Palmer's love for the game impresses me the most.

What are some of your goals for your final season of collegiate basketball?
Sidnei: Have no regrets and get a ring!!
Natalie: Have a winning record as well as win the conference regular season and tournament.

What are you planning to do after leaving UNCG?
Sidnei:
I want to go to Japan.
Natalie: I plan on attending physician assistant school.

Which WNBA player do you think most resembles your own style of play?
Sidnei:
I don't watch the WNBA.
Natalie: Maya Moore
