Prior To UNCG: Hensley was named to the 2020 Rivals Top 150 Prospect Ranking coming in at #144. Hensley was the first recruit in program history to be named to the list.this season. At Link Year Prep, he averaged 14.7 points and five rebounds per game. Prior to his time at Link Year Prep, the 6-foot-8 guard/forward attended Leavenworth (Kan.) High School, where he was a first-team all-conference selection during a senior campaign in which he averaged 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists per contest.
