UNCG adds home game Wednesday, road DH March 22
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Due to several rainouts early in the season, UNCG's softball team has added a single home game against North Carolina Central this Wednesday at 5 p.m., coach Jennifer Herzig announced Monday. The Spartans will also pick up a doubleheader at Gardner-Webb on March 22, starting at 2 p.m.
The Spartans (5-11) have had games affected by inclement weather in each of the last three weekends, with four rainouts total.
North Carolina Central will enter Wednesday's contest with a 1-15 overall mark and has lost 14 straight since splitting an opening-day doubleheader with UNCW.
Admission to UNCG Softball Stadium is free.
