Walked onto the team in the fall and earned significant playing time in the spring … appeared in 23 games with 18 starts, including the season-opener … hit .225 with three doubles, two RBI and two runs scored … threw out four runners trying to steal, including two against Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 20 in the championship of the Charlotte First Pitch Classic … caught a nine-inning no-hitter against No. 23 Florida State in her first career start (2/11) … had three multi-hit games, in back-to-back-to-back games … was 3-for-4 with a run scored against UAB on March 6 … was an NFCA Scholar-Athlete … member of the Dean’s and Chancellor’s lists both semesters.

High school
Was a two-time All-Liberty District selection for James Madison High School, taking first-team honors at third base as a senior and second-team honors at catcher as a sophomore … also earned all-region distinction as a senior … helped the Warhawks to Liberty District and Northern Region titles in 2010, as well as a state semifinals appearance … played club ball for the Glory Gold and the Virginia Shamrocks, helping the Shamrocks to a seventh-place finish at the ASA Nationals 16U in 2008 … in the classroom, earned the Scholar Athlete Award and the American Legion Certificate of School Award … member of the marching band and concert band and earned a varsity letter in academics (3.5 gpa or better).
