(UPDATED) Inclement weather continues to affect UNCG home events

GREENSBORO, NC - With a weekend full of inclement weather in the Triad, UNCG has canceled several athletic events.

As of Sunday 2:45 pm:

*Both women's tennis matches (Friday vs. Coastal Carolina and Saturday vs. Stetson) have been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

*The three-game softball series with Chattanooga has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

*Friday and Saturday's baseball slate were wiped out against Georgia Southern. As of now, the teams are going to try to play on Sunday beginning at 3:45 PM. The tarp was just removed and the two teams are beginning to warm up. Most likely, the teams will only be able to play one of their three slated games, if at all. There will NOT BE A SPARTAN ALL-ACCESS BROADCAST OF SUNDAY'S GAME DUE TO NETWORK OUTAGE ON THE UNCG CAMPUS.

*In Pinehurst, the men's golf team is hopeful to begin play at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Start of play had already been pushed back to 10:45 am going off of Nos. 1 and 10.

Those fans who purchased single-game Spartan All Access packages for this weekend's games can contact UNCG Sports Information Director Mike Hirschman about refunds at mwhirsch@uncg.edu.

Fans are encouraged to check UNCGSpartans.com periodically for the status of the UNCG baseball games slated for Sunday.
