ATLANTA, GA - Due to heavy rains overnight and this morning in the metro Atlanta area as well as the threat of inclement weather throughout the weekend, the 2008 Georgia Tech Buzz Classic has been canceled.
The Spartans will return to action on March 12 when they head to Blacksburg, VA, to take on No. 24 Virginia Tech in doubleheader action. The Spartans will take some time off before diving into league action with a weekend series at Chattanooga, March 21-22. UNCG will return to UNCG Softball Stadium on March 26 when they welcome crosstown rival North Carolina A&T for a midweek doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 3 pm.
