Twelve UNCG student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference team
SPARTANBURG, SC – Twelve UNCG student-athletes were named to the TIAA-CREFF Academic All-Conference teams for the 2007 spring season. A total of 207 student-athletes representing all Southern Conference institutions, were named to the squad.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro continued its magical run as the No. 8 seed as it knocked No. 2 College of Charleston out of the Southern Conference Softball Championships with a 10-0 victory in five innings, Friday at the UNCG Softball Stadium but couldn't continue its run, bowingout of the tournament with a 3-2 loss to No. 4 Georgia Southern in the late game.

UNCG softball splits with Elon; Greenway sets single-season stolen bases record
ELON, NC – UNC Greensboro used a five-run fifth inning to take game one by a score of 7-1 against backyard rival, Elon. Elon rallied in the late game to take the 8-0 win. Right fielder Mary Greenway, who had two stolen bases on the afternoon, broke Leigh Irwin’s UNCG’s single-season stolen bases record and now has 40 on the season.

GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro used a seven run sixth inning in a 7-4 come from behind win over league-leader College of Charleston on Senior Day at UNCG Softball Stadium. GREENSBORO, NC – Teri Mesko broke her own school record with 14 strikeouts to lead the College of Charleston to a 10-3 win over UNC Greensboro in game one of a Southern Conference softball doubleheader at UNCG Softball Stadium Saturday. The Cougars were able to take the sweep with a 7-5 win in the late game.
