XC: Competed in just four meets for the Seahawks … ran a 30:18 in the Mason Invitational in his only 8k meet … finished the 6,400 meters at the Mountaineer Open in a time of 23:43 … came in 20th place at the Campbell Cross Country Carnival with a time of 13:46.9 in the 4,000 meter race … had a time of 17:06 at the Seahawk Invitational, which was a 5k race. Indoor: Redshirted the season. Outdoor: Redshirted the season.

High School: Ran four years of varsity in cross country and three years of track for coach Mike Riley at East Forsyth High School … was named the team’s Outstanding Distance Athlete his senior season … helped lead his team to the indoor state championship title as a junior … a member of the outdoor 4x800 team that broke the school record with a time of 7:51.95 … also played four seasons of basketball as a guard and forward.
