Twenty One UNCG Student-Athletes named to Academic All-Conference team
SPARTANBURG, SC Twenty one UNCG student-athletes were named to the Southern Conference Academic All-Conference Team for the 2007 fall season. A total of 261 student-athletes, representing all Southern Conference institutions, were named to the team.

GREENSBORO, NC - A record 130 UNCG student-athletes earned GPAs of 3.0 or better in the Fall semester to earn a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

UNCG men fifth, women ninth at SoCon Cross Country Championships
CULLOWHEE, NC The UNC Greensboro mens cross country team was paced by Andrew Clynes 20th place finish and took fifth place at the 2007 Southern Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by Western Carolina. The womens team, led by Sherrika Jordan, turned in a ninth place finish.

BOONE, NC The UNC Greensboro mens cross country team finished 11th behind SoCon rival Appalachian State while the womens team placed 12th at the Blue Ridge Mountain Open on Friday evening.

SPARTANBURG, SC The UNC Greensboro mens cross country team was picked fourth in the pre-season poll as decided upon by the leagues coaches on Tuesday. The womens team was picked to finish eighth this season.
