UNCG signs Timion Meijs to men's tennis NLI

GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro men's tennis coach Thomas Mozur has received a National Letter of Intent signing from Timion Meijs to enroll this fall.

Meijs is a native of Utretch, The Netherlands. He has been ranked in the Dutch top 10 for his age bracket each of the last six years. He is a three-time provincial champion. Currently, he is ranked No. 120 in the national rankings overall.

The Spartans are coming off a tremendous turnaround season, improving their win-loss record by 12 games. UNCG went 15-8 last season, including 7-3 in conference play. The Spartans return five of six starters from this season, including Southern Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year Orcun Seyrek.
