UNCG set as No. 4 seed in SoCon Men's Tennis Tourney

SPARTANBURG, SC - UNC Greensboro, in the midst of its best season in seven years, will be the No. 4 seed in the Southern Conference Men's Tennis Tournament when it gets under way on Thursday afternoon.

UNCG finished tied for third with Wofford after the Terriers topped Samford on Saturday. Wofford won the tiebreaker for the No. 3 seed by virtue of its win over UNCG in Greensboro two weeks ago. The Spartans begin play in Friday's quarterfinal round, avoiding the first round matches. UNCG will face fifth-seeded Georgia Southern at 9 am at the Burlington Tennis Center. UNCG won the regular season match back on last weekend by a 4-3 score.
