BIRMINGHAM, AL – UNC Greensboro moved to 2-0 in Southern Conference men's tennis action on the year and 6-2 overall with a 5-2 win Tuedsay afternoon at Samford.
Orcun Seyrek picked up his 12th win of the season Tuesday in
UNCG's 5-2 victory at Samford.
The Spartans swept all three doubles matches for an early 1-0 lead.
UNCG then got straight-set wins by Orcun Seyrek and Arsel Kumdereli
to go along with three-set victories by Andrey Bubnov and Yaroslav
Litus to win their third straight match.
In the win, Seyrek won his 12th match of the season, while Kumdereli earned 11th win of the year. Seyrek is now 7-1 on the spring season.
UNCG continues its southern swing with a match at Jacksonville on Wednesday afternoon.
