Spartans rally for 4-3 win over Longwood
FARMVILLE, VA – Four easy wins in singles action helped UNC Greensboro rally from an early deficit as the Spartans topped Longwood, 4-3, in men's tennis action Sunday afternoon.
After Longwood claimed the doubles point, the Spartans won singles matches at Nos. 1, 2, 5 and 6 to come away with UNCG's second straight win. With the victory, the Spartans raised their record to 8-4 on the season.
Orcun Seyrek raised his mark to 16-3 and won his sixth straight match when he topped Carlos Garcia deAndoain. He is 10-1 in the spring dual match season.
UNCG returns to action on Saturday when they visit Davidson for a 1 pm match.
