GREENSBORO, NC – Andrey Bubnov advanced to the semifinals in his singles flight to highlight the second day of action for UNC Greensboro at the UNC Wilmington Fall Invitational men's tennis tournament.
Bubnov rallied to defeat freshman Rodrigo Amaral, 6-7 (2-7 in the tiebreaker), 6-3 and 1-0, winning the 10-point tiebreaker by a 10-4 score.
In a flight C semifinal tomorrow, Jacob Wright and Taylor Befus will face each other after they both won their quarterfinal matches on Saturday.
Play resumes Sunday with doubles semifinals at 8 am.
