GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro dominated Winston-Salem State, dropping just six games all day and winning 10 of the sets by shutout on its way to a 7-0 win in men’s tennis action Tuesday afternoon.
Arsel Kumdereli and Taylor Befus both played to perfect shutouts in singles action. Kumdereli, a sophomore from Mersin, Turkey, topped Max Glodoe, 6-0 and 6-0, while Befus, a sophomore from Raleigh, NC, blanked Ian Hunter by identical 6-0 scores. UNCG also won all three doubles pro-sets by perfect 8-0 scores, completing perfect days for Kumdereli and Befus.
The Spartans return to action on Thursday when they travel to UNC Wilmington for a 2 pm match.
