CHAPEL HILL, NC - UNCG's duo of Andrey Bubnov and Arsel Kumdereli were eliminated in the second round of doubles play at the ITA Regional hosted by North Carolina.
Bubnov and Kumdereli advanced by an injury walkover in the first round over ninth-seeded Pedro Campos and Ygenny Supeko from South Carolina. However, the tandem of Scott Fink and Andy Orban from Maryland eliminated Bobnov and Kumdereli, 8-6, in the second round.
The ITA Regionals were the final competition of the fall season for the Spartans. UNCG returns to action on January 27 when the Spartans travel to face Eastern Kentucky in the first dual match of the 2006-07 season.
