SPARTANBURG, SC – UNC Greensboro got straight-set wins from Jason Steinhorn and William Adeimy, but fell short in a 5-2 loss at Wofford in Southern Conference men’s tennis action Saturday afternoon.
Steinhorn defeated Richard Cahi, 6-2 and 6-1, at No. 5 singles, while Adeimy defeated Christopher Williams, 6-1 and 6-3, at No. 6 singles. However, the Terriers won the other four singles and all three doubles pro-sets.
UNCG (5-10, 0-5) will go back to work on Sunday in search of its first SoCon win when it faces Furman on the road at 2 pm.
