No. 43 Elon drops UNCG, 7-0, in men's tennis action

ELON, NC – No. 43-ranked Elon won all six singles matches and three doubles pro-sets to defeat UNC Greensboro, 7-0, in Southern Conference men’s tennis action on Tuesday afternoon.

Elon, which won its third in a row and raised its record to 12-2 on the season, won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. The only match to go a third set saw UNCG’s Martin Redelinghuys win the opening set, 6-3, before Anuwat Dalodom won the second set 6-2 before winning the deciding set with a 10-point tiebreaker, 10-3.

UNCG (4-8, 0-3) will host Richmond on Friday at 2:30 pm.
