Ladouceur falls into third round of consolation bracket at ITA Regional men's tennis tourney

CHAPEL HILL, NC – Marc Ladouceur lost his first round match in singles action Thursday at the ITA Mideast Regional.

Ladouceur, a senior from Montreal, Canada, lost to Wake Forest’s Liron Strauss in straight-sets, 6-4, 7-6, 7-5 in the tiebreak, to fall into the consolation bracket.

Ladouceur also played a first round doubles match Thursday afternoon with teammate Ryan Lewis, which they dropped to Radford’s duo of James Lloyd and Martin Sayer, 8-4.

Ladouceur is scheduled to play a third round consolation match against an opponent to be determined on Friday afternoon.
