GREENSBORO, NC – UNC Greensboro won all six singles matches and two of the three doubles pro-sets as the Spartans picked up their first Southern Conference victory of the year, 7-0, over Georgia Southern in men’s tennis action Sunday afternoon.
Five of UNCG’s six singles wins came in straight sets. Jason Steinhorn had the easiest time, defeating Jamin Dean, 6-0, 6-0. Senior Marc Ladouceur, playing in his final home match, also earned a straight-set win in singles action, defeating Vincent Patry, 6-3, 6-3.
UNCG returns to action on Friday when it visits Applachaian State in a 2 pm SoCon match-up.
