Men’s soccer signees selected for East-West game
GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG men's soccer signees Stephen Moffitt (Burlington, N.C./Williams HS) and David Reittinger (Greensboro/Northwest Guilford HS) have been selected to play in the annual East-West All-Star game on July 17 at UNCG Soccer Stadium. The incoming freshmen will both play for the West squad.
Moffitt, a goalkeeper, was a three-year starter at Williams, earning all-state honors as a senior. He also earned region and conference player of the year recognition in 2011. A two-year captain, Moffitt helped lead Williams to the state semifinals as a sophomore.
Reittinger, a midfielder, earned all-state honors and region player of the year accolades as a senior after setting school records with 43 goals and 12 assists. He helped lead Northwest to a conference championship as a junior.
UNCG head coach Justin Maullin is expected to announce his entire recruiting class later this summer.
