Twenty One UNCG Student-Athletes named to Academic All-Conference team
SPARTANBURG, SC Twenty one UNCG student-athletes were named to the Southern Conference Academic All-Conference Team for the 2007 fall season. A total of 261 student-athletes, representing all Southern Conference institutions, were named to the team.

Three Spartans earn all-region honors
CARY, NC UNC Greensboro placed three players on the NSCAAs All-South Region team when awards were handed out this past weekend during festivities at the 2007 Mens College Cup. Jokull Elisabetarson and Thomas Campbell each earned second-team honors, while David Worthen earned third-team accolades.

Double overtime goal by Campbell sends UNCG into SoCon finals
GREENSBORO, NC A goal by junior Thomas Campbell midway through the second overtime on Friday night lifted the UNC Greensboro Spartans past the College of Charleston Cougars, 2-1, and into the Southern Conference Championship round.
