GREENSBORO, NC – After a 1-1 week last week, including an overtime loss on the road at North Carolina, UNC Greensboro remained ranked in all four national polls this week.
UNCG is No. 19 in the College Soccer News Top 30, No. 23 in Soccer Times’ Top 25, No. 24 in the Soccer America Top 25, and No. 25 in the NSCAA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
Last week, the Spartans (6-3-0) lost at then-No. 2 ranked North Carolina on the road, 1-0, but bounced back to win its SoCon opener, 5-3, over Georgia Southern. Hermann Award candidate Scott Jones had three assists in the win to give him a team-high nine this season.
New Mexico, which did not play last week, is No. 1 in the nation unanimously amongst the four polls.
