Almand has been on the bag as Kohles has claimed victories in his first two career professional competitions, becoming the first player in tour history to make his first two professional starts victories.

Men’s Golf Earns 2011-12 Team Academic Award
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG men’s golf program was named an All-Academic Team national recipient by the Golf Coaches Association of America presented by Farmers Insurance (GCAA) Friday. The Spartans are one of 124 teams across all NCAA levels and just one of 68 NCAA Division I teams recognized for having a team GPA of 3.00 or higher. UNCG and Wofford are the only two schools from the Southern Conference represented on the list.
