DANIEL ISLAND. S.C. – UNCG continues to sit in 11th place with one round left to play at the Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship. Alex Ehlert is leading the Spartans after shooting a 75 Monday at the Ralston Creek Course.
His total score of 152 (77-75) has him tied for 30th place.
Kyle Sonday is not far off pace after firing a second-round 76. He's tied for 36th with a 153 (77-76).
Tied for 45th place is senior Will Almand. He shot a second-round score of 79 for a two-day total of 156 (77-79).
Robert Hoadley will start the third round tied for 48th with a 158 (77-81), and Roy Dixon is currently in 50th place with a total of 159 (77-82).
Chattanooga has gained the tournament lead after recording a 286 Monday for a team total of 580. The Mocs hold a nine-stroke advantage over the Samford Bulldogs.
Chattanooga's Stephan Jaeger maintained his individual lead in round two and now has a score of 138 (66-72). The 16th-ranked player in the country is four shots ahead of Austin Reeves of Furman.
The last round from the Ralston Creek Course will tee at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday.
