Freshman season (2009-10)
Appeared in two tournaments, posting a 78.50 stroke average … shot a season-low 232 (79-77-76) at the Fireline Towson Invitational … had his best round of the season in the third round, shooting a 76 … also competed in the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate … member of the Dean’s List and the Chancellor’s List both semesters.

Amateur
Finished second in the 2008 North Carolina Big “I” Championship … won the 2007 Tarheel Junior Championship … finished third in the 2009 Forest Oaks Invitational … tied for seventh in the 2010 Cardinal Amateur … competed in the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship after earning his spot with a second-place showing in the sectional qualifier.

High school
Was the Metro 4A Player of the Year in 2009 for Northwest Guilford High School … also earned All-Metro 4A honors all four years … member of the 2009 “We the People” state championship team, which studies the Constitution and its impact and competes against other teams from other schools … member of the Leadership Class from 2007-09 … earned a Merit Award scholarship from UNCG’s Bryant School of Business and Economics.
