UNCG second after opening round; second round halted by darkness

LEXINGTON, Ky.  - UNC Greensboro is tied for second after the opening round at the UK Bluegrass Invitational men's golf tournament.

The second round was halted by darkness and will be completed on Sunday morning prior the final round. The Spartans shot a two-under par 282, one shot behind Miami of Ohio in the opening round.

UNCG's Will Bowman carded an opening round 69 to sit in fourth place after the opening round. Ryan Heisey is tied for sixth place after an opening round 70, while Colin Chapman is tied for 15th place after an opening round 71.

Miami of Ohio's Craig Voorhees carded an opening round 66 to sit in the lead. Brian Belden of Kentucky is one shot back, followed by Ohio's Tim Gusweiler at two shots back.
