Weather washes out first day at Maryland Intercollegiate

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Tropical Storm Hanna washed out the first day of play and the opening of the season for UNC Greensboro at the Maryland Intercollegiate men’s golf tournament on Saturday, slated to be played at River Marsh GC.

The tournament, in its first year, will be shortened to 36 holes, all of which will be played Sunday. The opening round for the 18 teams is slated to begin at 6:40 am. Tournament officials hope to begin the second round at approximately 12 noon.
